Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has admitted that his main target this season is to win the golden boot.
The former-Montpellier forward has an impressive debut season in England, scoring 17-goals in all competitions, and so far this season, he has already scored four in the Premier League from just four matches.
With many people doubting Arsenal’s chances this season because of the lack of a world-class striker, Giroud will feel like he is proving many doubters wrong already this season and he is also hopeful that he can become the first Frenchman since Nicolas Anelka to win the golden boot.
“I must have a chance,” said the Frenchman.
“I feel good and, with these players giving me chances, it has to be a possibility.
“That is something I aimed to achieve when I joined Arsenal. Now that we have Mesut Ozil, it can get even better.”
