The midfielder looks set for Serie A move

According to reports in Italy, the representatives of Chelsea playmaker Oscar are set to meet with the Italian champions Juventus over a possible move.

The attacking midfielder has been recently linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, and it is believed the Champions League runners up want the Brazilian international to replace Paul Pogba.

The Blues’ boss Jose Mourinho is extremely interested in Pogba, as he believes the French international can help Chelsea win the Champions League.

However, Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri will only let Pogba leave Serie A for the Premier League champions if cash plus Oscar moves in the opposite direction.

Competition in Europe

If Chelsea want to sign Pogba they will have to overcome competition from European powerhouses Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

BUT they have a trump card in Oscar and it looks likely that they will offer the 23-year old to the Old Lady in order to lure Pogba to West London.

Italian media outlet Tuttosport claim Oscar’s agent will fly out to Italy in a couple of weeks to secure a move to Juventus for another of his clients, Fluminese’s Gerson, who is Brazilian and a fellow countrymen to Oscar.
