Former Bayern Munich star Owen Hargreaves thinks Alexis Sanchez will overpower Jerome Boateng during Arsenal’s last-16 test in the Champions League.
The Gunners will face the Bundesliga champions for the fourth time in the last five seasons and will be looking to progress past their rivals for the first time in their history.
Despite drawing the German giants, former England midfielder Hargreaves claims Sanchez could make Bayern’s defence look foolish.
“Boateng has really struggled this season, he was probably the best player in the Bundesliga last season,” he told BT Sport.
“There are issues defensively for Bayern.
“I just think with Sanchez against [Mats] Hummels and Boateng, I’d fancy Sanchez to score every game.
“If Arsenal can get an away goal in Munich, then it’s game on – no question.”
