Arsenal playmakers Mesut Ozil and Tomas Rosicky will hold serious talks with Arsene Wenger about their future at the Emirates.

German international Ozil is set to be punished for his actions over the weekend. He didn’t play in the Gunners’ 2-1 win over Newcastle United as he was ‘ill’.

However, hours after the match, Ozil was pictured in a nightclub in Berlin, Germany; presumably partying with friends.

On the other hand, the 34-year old Rosicky is hoping to tie up a new contract or he will leave on a free in the summer.

The Czech international had expressed his desire to leave Arsenal in the January transfer window due to lack of game time.

Despite this, Rosicky now believes there may be a future for him in North London after gaining more first team apperances.

He said: “Arsenal and me is still an option for next season, they have everything in their hands.”

One of Ozil or Rosicky may have to depart in summer if Arsenal are to make space for the ÂŁ17.7 million rated Mateo Kovacic.

The Inter Milan midfielder is also a target for La Liga giants Barcelona.
