Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has praised the club’s performance against Leicester City last night. Arsenal came from a goal down to defeat Leicester City 3-1 last night. Ozil captained Arsenal and scored their equaliser at half-time to cancel out Hector Bellerin’s own goal. Ozil later provided an assist for one of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s two goals.The win was Arsenal’s 7th successive win in the Premier League and their 10th successive win across all competitions this season.
Arsenal are now 4th in the league table with 21 points which is the same number of points as Chelsea and rivals Tottenham. Following the match, Ozil wrote on Twitter, “I think we played some sexy football tonight. Proud captain of this team and this club!”.
Arsenal’s next match is a Europa League fixture against Sporting CP. They will hope to continue their winning run in the competition. Their next Premier League fixture is against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
