Argentine suffers knee injury
Manchester City have announced that Pablo Zabaleta will be out of action for at least a month with a knee injury.
The Argentinian international picked up a knee ligament injury during training in the past week, and Manuel Pellegrini has now confirmed that the right-back will miss at least a month.
Zabaleta hasn’t featured for City yet this season, with Bacary Sagna the preferred right-back so far, and Pellegrini has now confirmed that the Argentine won’t be in action for at least four weeks.
Pellegrini Confirms Injury
Pellegrini said: “Zabaleta is out for a month with a knee injury, he has a ligament problem.”
Sagna is set to continue to fill the right-back role when City travel to Goodison Park this weekend to take on Everton.
