Spanish star Paco Alcacer is set to deal a blow to London duo Chelsea and Arsenal by signing a new deal with Valencia.
Alcacer, 21, has had a storming start to the La Liga season, with four goals and four assists in nine league games.
And this scintillating form, coupled with call-ups to the Spanish national side, has seen interest from the Premier League.
But he has decided to stay at Valencia, and is in talks with the club over a new deal which will tie him down until 2018.
Alcacer has worked his way up through the Spanish national ranks, with caps at Under-16 through to Under-21 level, then the senior side.
With the Under-17 side he reached the final of the 2010 European Championship and being top scorer with six goals.
At Under-19 level he won the European Championship twice.
The news he is set to stay at the Mestalla for the forseeable future will please boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
