One of Crystal Palace’s summer acquisitions has suffered a broken ankle during training and faces a legthly wait before he can make his debut for the newly promoted club.
The 22 year old moved from Huddersfield on deadline day for a reported £2 million fee, signing a four year deal but has now revealed that he has broken his ankle during training.
The new signing posted on social networking site Instagram, “Absolutely devastated to have broken my ankle in training. Got to take the positives, clean break and no op needed.”
“I’ll do everything I can to be back playing as soon as possible. Massive thanks to everyone at CPFC. Chairman, manager, coaching staff, physios and the lads have been unreal.”
Jack Hunt is not the only injury for Palace, midfielder Johnny Williams is also set to face a prolonged period on the sidelines as he damaged his ankle ligaments on international duty with Wales in Macedonia.
