Crystal Palace have signed five players to give their Premier League survival chances a real boost, in a rather productive deadline day at Selhurst Park.

Prehaps the most significant deal that Palace pulled off was that of Blackpool winger Tom Ince, has come into the club on loan.

Ince, 22, joins the club on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permenant deal.

It’s never nice to leave a club like Blackpool, who have done ever so well for me,” the England Under-21 international told BBC Radio 5 Live.

Ince went onto say….

“I had three fantastic years there, but when an opportunity like this comes around… as soon as I met [manager] Tony Pulis and [co-chairman] Steve Parish at Palace it felt like the right thing for me.

“It’s amazing how well Tony has done there since he came in. He said to me I was someone he needs, someone who can run at people and create some magic in the final third.”

Palace have also captured Jason Puncheon, with the winger signing on a permanent deal from Southampton, having impressed at the club during his loan deal from the South Coast.

“I thought it might happen at the end of the season but it’s come quicker and that’s good for both me and the football club,” he said.

Pulis has assembled quite a squad, with the overall ability to stay up in the top flight, with Parish chucking money at the Eagles.

The Eagles also swooped for Wolverhampton goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey , with the Welsh keeper coming into the club as competition for regular first choice keeper Julian Speroni.

Hennessey is back in the Premier League, after an injury plauged spell at Wolves, with the keeper spending the first half of the season at Yeovil Town.

However, following a return to the West Midlands, he refused to play in his sides recent 1-0 defeat away at Gillingham, sparking speculation surrounding his future at the club.

Joe Ledley signed from Glasgow Celtic, liking up with Wales team-mate Hennessey.

The full back lead the Scottish side to the League title last season, but with his contract running out in the summer, has moved to South London.

“I am over the moon as it’s every boy’s dream to play in the Premier League,” Ledley told Palace’s website.

“I have played in the Champions League and I look forward to the challenge ahead. It is going to be difficult, but we have brought in some fantastic players.”

And finally, Palace captured Blackburn Rovers captain Scott Dann, for an undisclosed fee.

Dann has experience in the Premiership, with both Blackburn and Birmingham City.
