Ligue 1 champions eyeing £80million winger
Paris Saint-Germain are the latest side to be linked with a move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard, according to reports.
The Belgium international has been strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season, with La Liga giants Real Madrid favourites to sign him.
However, according to the latest reports, PSG have also entered the race to sign him and could launch a formal bid worth around £80million over the summer.
Hazard’s Future Uncertain
Hazard has reportedly told close friends and family that he wants to leave Chelsea after growing frustrated with life in the Premier League, and he’s also told them that a move to the Bernabeu would be his dream.
With Madrid unsure on Cristiano Ronaldo‘s future, Hazard is seen as a suitable replacement.
PSG are also interested in Ronaldo, so it’s believed Laurent Blanc will sign one or the other, but as it stands, he is ready to part ways with £80m for the 24-year-old from Chelsea.
Despite signing a new long-term deal at Stamford Bridge earlier this year, Hazard is not happy with life in London and that’s told on the pitch, with not a single goal to his name yet this season.
PSG and Chelsea have done business before, with David Luiz joining the French outfit for £50m last summer.
