Nevin believes Eden Hazard can get slowed down when teams foul him a lot.
It’s a know statistical fact that Eden Hazard draws a lot of fouls.
Hazard copped a few fouls from the Hammers, and Nevin has noticed there’s been a pattern that’s continued over the course of the campaign.
Pat Nevin says the tackles can slow Hazard down if they happen often enough.
“Yeah it will do in certain games, there’s no doubt about it,” he told Chelsea TV.
“The fact that he’s got that real strength, he’s got really big thighs which help him power away through teams.
“But there have been games in the past where it has slowed him down, especially if something twists in your ankle.”
