Paul Pogba Opens Up On Juventus Reunion In The Champions League

Paul Pogba insists he is feeling pretty special ahead of Manchester United’s Group H encounter with Juventus in the Champions League.

It’s a bit of reunion for the midfielder who enjoyed a productive four years in Turin. The French international’s had a massive influence during his stay at the Italian club and his significant progress compelled United to shell a mammoth £89m to bring him back to the club.

Pogba has only shown his class in flashes and although he still has the potential to change the course of the game single handedly question has often been asked whether the midfielder is justifying his talent or not.

Pogba said, We said: ‘Can you imagine what it’d be like if we’re drawn in the same group as Juventus?’ That’s the way it’s panned out and it’s really special.

“We’ve all been sending messages about seeing each other again. There’s a lot of emotions involved because I began my first season in the professional game and scored my first goal at Juve.

“It’s there that I developed as a player, so I have huge respect for the club.”

“You can’t predict anything in the Champions League.

“It’s like the World Cup. I see it as a high-profile competition with great teams. Everything is possible.

“I must admit I’m thinking about it [lifting the trophy]. I think all players want to win this title. It’s my goal to take it home.”
