The Barcelona winger has reportedly decided he wants to leave The Nou Camp
The Spain international is frustrated with the lack of playing time, according to Spanish newspaper Cope.
Pedro, 27, is reportedly ready for a move away with a number of Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
“We’ve made it clear. The team is complete, the idea was to have the squad that we have now and we’re not expecting any departures.”
“If someone wants to leave, they will have to tell us, because we have no information about anyone wanting to do so, we haven’t had any offers.
“If someone leaves, it will be because the player asks to do so. We don’t want anyone to leave” said Bartomeu.
United lead the chase
Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal is still keen to strengthen ahead of the new season and has reportedly identified Pedro as a key target.
The Dutchman has already brought a host of new faces to the Red Devils, including Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven for ÂŁ31million.
Defender Matteo Darmian followed soon after from Torino whilst Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin joined the team just in time for United’s pre-season tour of America.
Real Madrid cool De Gea interest
The La Liga giants have been heavily linked with a move for United’s David De Gea, but are reportedly planning to sign the 24-year-old on a free transfer next year.
Real boss Rafael Benitez recently handed the no.1 jersey to Keylor Navas which further suggests they are prepared to wait for the Spain international.
