Manuel Pellegrini has said that West Ham United do not need Callum Wilson.

The Veteran gaffer said that they do not need any other striker while Marko Arnautovic is still at the club.

West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has said that they don’t need Callum Wilson while Marko Arnautovic is still at the club. The Hammers have been linked with a number of forwards including the Bournemouth striker with the possibility of their talisman Arnautovic leaving for the Chinese Super League.

Speaking to the media, the former Premier League winning manager said, “He(Wilson)’s a very good striker but the rumours we want him is not true.”

He added, “We have our players. We have Javier Hernandez, we have Lucas Perez, we have Andy Carroll, we have Marko Arnautovic in our squad. I’m happy with all these players. Things can happen when they happen we’ll see.”

The Hammers have been ravaged with injuries this season and have been looking for a striker to replace their in-form marksman Arnautovic. The Austrian has done the bulk of scoring for the east London club and is currently standing on seven goals this season. His departure would definitely leave a big hole in their lineup for sure but the manager seems to have his options sorted as of now.
