Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has put the Premier League on alert after reports emerged that he may not renew his current deal at the Allianz Arena.

The Spaniard’s current deal with the Bundesliga title holders expires at the end of next season, and has revealed to Bayern that he has no wish to extend that current contract.

Guadiola, aged 44, has won two Bundesliga titles in a row, as well as several domestic, European, and World titles since his appointment with the Bavarian giants in the summer of 2013.

Speaking following Friday’s 4-1 defeat to Wolfsburg, Guardiola hinted that he may cut-short his spell at the Allianz Arena.

“We still have time to talk about that (contract extension) after the end of the season in the summer.

Football is today like that and completely different the next day.’

He was subject of interest from the Premier League, aftyer he departed Barcelona in 2012, with Manchester City and Arsenal both previously keen.

And the same two-clubs may come in for him again, should he decide to leave Germany for good.
