Pep Guardiola could sign for Manchester United instead of Manchester City.
The race for the Bayern boss has heated up with Manchester United reportedly interested.
Manchester United could have a dilemma at the end of the season if Pep Guardiola becomes available. One of the best managers in the world can’t be overlooked as United look to recapture their past glory. Pep Guardiola’s representatives have reportedly admitted Pep would want to work for Manchester United.
In a recent press conference the Bayern Munich boss refused to answer any questions on his future at the club. Bayern are expecting an answer by the end of the year as they seek to find a suitable replacement if he was to leave.
Manchester City hoped that by bringing in Ferran Soiano and Txiki Begiristain they would attract Guardiola.
Guardiola has always admitted he has wanted to manage in foreign countries as he searches for his next test.
Manchester United would have to compensate current manager Louis Van Gaal, if the club was to go for Guardiola. Van Gall is currently contracted at Old Trafford until 2017.
