Pep Guardiola isn’t worried after Manchester City dropped points against Wolves for the first time this Premier League. The title holders couldn’t penetrate a rigid Wolves defence as the newly promoted side held them to a 1-1 draw.

Willy Boly gave the newly promoted side a lead through a debatable goal as the ball touched his hand before getting past Ederson. City replied back through Aymeric Laporte who got past his marker to head home.

Man City moved to third as Liverpool and Watford have claimed the first two places in the Premier League table. Despite suffering a jolt in their quest of retaining the Premier League title the former Barcelona boss is not affected by the draw.

“We came to win the game like we did in the last month but we dropped two points or won one point and nothing will change after three Premier League game.

“It’s a long road and we have to continue in that way. I said in the previous press conference that, in my experience, they are tough games at the start against newly-promoted clubs.”

The gaffer also insisted he would love play teams like Wolves in the year end. “I prefer to play them in November or December when the season is more advanced because most days they don’t feel pressure against one of the contenders to win the Premier League.”
