Scottish Premier League side Celtic have had three bids for Peterborough United forward Lee Tomlin rejected by the League One club.
Darren Ferguson, who watched his team lost 2-0 today at home to Crawley in the league, confirmed the news after the game saying that the Scottish champions made three bids during the day and even made one during the game being played.
Ferguson didn’t confirm how much Celtic offered for the forward, but he admitted that nothing they could offer would be enough to see them accept the bid.
Posh are adamant on not selling Tomlin as they eye a quick return to the Championship and as the Scottish transfer deadline day closes tonight, it looks like Neil Lennon will miss out on his transfer target.
