Former Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has urged Arsenal to sign Petr Cech from his former club, in the summer.
Cech, who has been at Chelsea for eleven-years, has been limited to five Premier League appearances this season, following the emergance of Thibaut Courtois now Jose Mourinho’s preferred option in goal at Stamford Bridge, following a fruitful spell in Spain, on-loan at Atletico Madrid.
And Cudicini, who represented the West-Londoners for nine-years, between 2000-2009, believes that the 32-year-old Cech should make the move across London, to Arsenal.
“Arsenal have had a few problems with goalkeepers after [David] Seaman and [Jens] Lehmann,” said the Italian, speaking to Talksport.
“[Wojciech] Szczesny is still struggling to impose himself as number one, so if a goalkeeper like Petr Cech is available in the summer, obviously he should be a big target for Arsenal.”
