The goalkeeper has been strongly linked with a move away

Chelsea shot-stopper Petr Cech has admitted that he hasn’t thought about where his club football future may be played.

The Czech Republic international has been given permission to speak to other clubs about a move away from Stamford Bridge. He has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal, who have vowed to challenge the Blues for the Premier League title next campaign.

The Blues’ boss Jose Mourinho has given permission for Cech to feel free to talk to other clubs about a summer transfer window switch, after losing his first team place to Thibaut Courtois.

International duty comes first

Despite such speculation, Cech has revealed he won’t be making a decision at least until Czech Republic have played Iceland in their Euro 2016 qualifier on the 12th June.

He told the Daily Star: “I will fly back now and join the national team. When the season is over I will weigh up my options and decide.”

He also added: “I don’t know if I have played my last game for Chelsea or not. At the moment everything is just speculation. I’m not thinking about it.”

The 33-year old has made 21 appearances in all competitions for both club and country this season; with more friendlies and qualifiers to come for his national side.
