Aubameyang has been linked with the Blues as well as Roma and Napoli since the end of last season.

And with Jose Mourinho opting to let Romelu Lukaku move to Everton, there has been some suggestion that Chelsea could revive their interest.

Mourinho has new signing Diego Costa, returning hero Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres at his disposal but has seen Demba Ba and Samuel Eto’o depart in addition to Lukaku so far this summer.

However, Aubameyang insists he is not aware of any interest from the Stamford Bridge club and has no intention of leaving Dortmund in any case.

He told Sportbild: “I have a contract that runs until 2018.

“I never wanted and do not want to leave.

“I was informed about approaches from Italy but it did not interest me.”

Aubameyang may see greater opportunities at Dortmund next season following Robert Lewandowski’s departure for Bayern Munich, and the player’s father, Pierre, has hinted the 25-year-old is keen to repay the club’s faith in his son.

He said: “There is no truth in those rumours.

“My son will carry on at Borussia Dortmund.

“He likes it at the club and the club did a lot to help him settle.

“No one from Dortmund has told us that they are out to sell my son – much the opposite.”
