Robert Pires has said that Unai Emery is “a little bit crazy” but he also admires him a lot.

Former Arsenal winger Robert Pires has said that the new Arsenal boss Unai Emery is “a little bit crazy” and that he has been very much impressed with his managerial style. The Gunners are currently on an unbeaten run of 21 matches in all competitions under his tutelage and are currently placed in the fifth position on the Premier League table, looking to make it a better season than the disappointment they had to endure in the last two terms.
Pires said, “I know Unai because of when he used to manage Sevilla and especially Paris Saint-Germain.”
He added, “He is a winner, he has won a lot of titles: the Europa League with Sevilla, Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain. I think he’s put a good spirit inside the dressing room. I think Arsenal have found a new face, maybe with a new philosophy, because this guy is like a warrior. You can see him when he’s on the bench: he’s a little bit crazy, but good crazy.”
Arsenal will take on Qarabag in their last match in the Europa League group stage, looking to finish as the group toppers. The Gunners have already made it into the next round and will surely be looking to go all the way in the competition and win the coveted title.
