Manchester City  have reportedly tabled a deal to sign Andrea Pirlo in January.
The former world cup winner would be a key signing in City’s title challenge.
At the age of 36 Pirlo is still considered one of the best midfielders in the world with ability to hit devastating free kicks and cross field passes. After departing Juventus in summer the midfielder signed for New York City who are part of the City group. In a deal similar to the Frank Lampard scenario last year, the midfielder could spend the rest of the season in England.
Manchester City struggled to control the game against Liverpool yesterday and Pirlo could well be the stabilizing figure needed.
