Juventus’s newly appointed boss Andrea Pirlo has started making plans for his time as manager.

He has already figured out who to set aside for a transfer away from the squad this summer. Reports say that Gonzalo Higuain and Sami Khedira will up for an exit soon, after Blaise Matuidi took his leave from Juventus. Pirlo has made up his mind to cut some players for the squad, to rack up some cash for new transfers. He also shall be recruiting and training midfielder to play around Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently has been managing pressures alone.

However, rival boss Gennaro Gattuso – Napoli head coach – isn’t very confident of Pirlo’s appointment. To put it simply, Gattuso said Pirlo ‘is screwed’. There is definitely a sense of apprehension for everyone at Juventus. Andrea Pirlo, although a great player, has never managed any club before – let alone a big one like Juventus. Pirlo has not even managed a club at the junior level, and was appointed the first-team manager only nine days after becoming the under 23 manager.

“Well he’s screwed now… that’s the job,” Gattuso told Sky Italia following Napoli’s defeat to Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League last-16 on Saturday.

“He’s lucky to be starting at Juventus, but this profession is one where a great playing career is not enough. You have to study, to work hard, and you don’t get much sleep.”
