Mauricio Pochettino has given an update on Harry Kane’s injury.

The Tottenham striker picked up a knock in the match against Manchester United.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has given an update on his attacking ace Harry Kane. The England international picked up a knock in the match against Manchester United and limped off the pitch after the full-time whistle. The in-form striker is currently on level terms with Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the race for the Golden Boot this season with 14 goals from 22 matches.

Speaking to the media after their loss at Wembley against the Red Devils, Pochettino said, “My worry is that is was a bad tackle in the last moment.”

He added, “I wasn’t the intention of the Manchester United player but it was a bad tackle. He has a bit of swelling on his ankle and he was limping after the game. We are going to lose Son to the Asian Cup and if Harry Kane has an issue that will be massive for us.”

The Argentine gaffer also said, “I think I am worried about [it], because we will see what happens with Harry Kane. And look today, in the last action of the game. We will see, first of all we need to asses him and Moussa [Sissoko] and hope it is not a big issue and then we are going to try and find a way to play if we are to lose them but hope it is not going to be a long period.”
