Podolski Frustration

Lukas Podolski admits to becoming increasingly frustrated at Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, at substituting him most games.

The last time Podolski was given 90 minutes of football was against German champions Bayern Munich in the Champions League second leg, and with himself being taken off for Olivier Giroud during Arsenal’s Fa Cup semi-final, this has sparked Podolski to come out publically with his anger.I play and in the last games, I always come out and of course you cannot be happy when you always go out after 60, 70 minutes,” he said. “When you go out and you are happy, you are not a footballer so of course I am not happy always to be substituted”. He then continued to add: “It’s the decision of the boss, he is the manager. He decides who comes in, who comes out, who are the first XI”,”It’s not always easy when you play for a big club but of course I am not happy to always come out and watch from outside. You cannot be happy with this situation.”

Podolski has also publically warned Wenger that it would be a ‘disaster’ for Arsenal to fail to qualify for next seasons Champions League. This agains seems to be Podolski trying to enforce his message of frustration at decisions that have been made by Arsene Wenger.
