Lukas Podolski has confirmed that he will be at Arsenal next season, despite being frustrated with not becoming a regular starter this season.
The German has failed to play regularly under boss, Arsene Wenger, fueling speculation that the player will be allowed to move on once the window opens.
And if this were the case, plenty of potential suitors would be willing to snap up the forward, as he has proven himself at the highest level.
However, Podolski has insisted that he is happy in England and expects to be playing for Arsenal next season.
Podolski told reporters as he continues his preparations for a third World Cup finals appearance: “As things stand today, I am an Arsenal player (and) it won’t change.”
“Going to London was the right step. I had the chance to go to a big club and to play in the strongest league in the world.
“I am happy in the city, in the league, in the club. Those two years have been outstanding for me.”
