Juventus are reportedly considering bringing Manchester United misfit Paul Pogba back to Serie A after the buy-back fee was revealed for the player.
The France international left the Serie A giants in 2016 and rejoined United for a then world-record fee of £89m.
The France midfielder appears to have fallen out of favour with Mourinho in recent weeks.
The former Chelsea boss publicly criticised the midfielder after hauling him off during a recent defeat at Newcastle. But Mourinho has denied suggestions of a rift between the pair.
The tensions have sparked suggestions that Pogba could look to leave United, with Real Madrid reportedly monitoring the situation.
French publication L’Equipe, claims that there is a clause in Pogba’s contract that will allow him to return to Juve for a fee in the region of €60million and that the reigning Serie A champions are currently monitoring his situation.
While Mourinho may look to cash in on Pogba in order to strengthen other areas, a major stumbling block could prove to be his wages.
The Frenchman was handed a huge pay rise when he joined the Red Devils and currently earns around £290,000-a-week.
Pogba would be open to returning to Italy. His future will be decided over the remaining months of the season.
