The France midfielder is prepared to stay in Turin this summer

Chelsea have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, with the 23-year-old saying he has no desire to leave Serie A.

The Blues, along with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Real Madrid, are hoping to entice the France international away from Turin this summer.

Meanwhile, Barcelona forward Neymar has also tried to convince the midfielder to join up with him at the Camp Nou.

But Pogba insists he is focused on retaining the Serie A with Juventus, and does not want a move away from the club that handed him regular first-team football, having been let go by Manchester United.

“It’s nice that such a great player shows appreciation for me,” Pogba said of Neymar’s interest.

“Everyone wants to play with the champions, but I’m happy to stay at Juventus and I’m focused on the title.

“I have no transfer temptations, the Scudetto is the only thing in my head.”

Juventus want nine-figure fee

And with speculation continuing to grow about Pogba’s future, the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, has said that The Old Lady are demanding a fee of €100 million (ÂŁ80 million).

The Blues had been targeting the Frenchman, even before Antonio Conte signed a three-year deal with Chelsea, and those links are bound to strengthen, with the Italian having managed Juventus, before taking on the Italy job.

However, Chelsea are expected to try make a deal with the Serie A champions that will see Pogba move to Stamford Bridge for less than the fee they are asking for.
