Pogba believes that Solskjaer’s tactics are a perfect fit for Man United

Manchester United continued their resurgence under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the Red Devils recorded their third consecutive win with a 4-1 whitewash of Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Solskjaer’s arrival has seen the team play a much more attacking and free-flowing brand of football, with United scoring as many as 12 goals and conceding just 3 in his three games in charge. Pogba starred once against in the 4-1 win as the Frenchman netted twice in the first half before setting up Romelu Lukaku for the fourth goal in the second half.

And Pogba believes that United are now playing a brand of football that suits the players a lot more.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Pogba said: “It’s different. We still won some games with the old manager, but it’s just a different style of play, more offensive, I would say, so we create more chances.

“So, we try to play like that. That’s how we want to play, we want to attack and that’s what we try to do on the pitch.

“Maybe we just realised that we are Manchester United, we need to keep up, we need to be at the top of the league.

“The reaction of all the players, everybody enjoying themselves, that’s all we need. Everybody playing for each other and getting the result on the pitch.”
