British football clubs went crazy in 2016, breaking records all over, and making it rain like never before.

Premier League clubs spent more than a whopping £155 million, smashing 2013’s record of £140 million.

Overall,  £1.17 billion ($1.5 billion) was spent on players this summer, the first time ever that the summer total has passed the ten-figure mark.

So we have rounded up the 7 biggest deals in English football this summer, which was part of the £400 million spent by British clubs.
