Premier League duo Arsenal and Manchester City are both considering making bids for Valencia defender Adil Rami after he was put on the transfer list for publically slating the club’s manager.
The French international is highly rated in European football and have previously been watched by FC Barcelona and his future is now in doubt after his comments about manager, Miroslav Djukic.
Speaking to Cadena Ser on Tuesday evening, Rami said: “In the dressing room there is only confusion since we lost [Roberto] Soldado, [Alberto] Costa and [David] Albelda.
“[Coach Miroslav] Djukic doesn’t say things to your face.”
Not only have the Spanish club fined the defender, they have also now put him on the transfer list and this has caught the attentions of both City and Arsenal who are both keen on strengthening their defence.
Rami was keen on making a move away from the club in the summer anyway, but Valencia’s asking price was too high and no-one made a formal bid for the Frenchman.
