Premier League side ready to bid for Mario Balotelli

Premier League side Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan controversial striker Mario Balotelli, and could make a move for him in the Summer after they failed to land a new forward in January.

Manager Arsene Wenger has been keen to sign a striker since last Summer, but after failed moves for Gonzalo Higuain and Luis Suarez in pre-season, he then failed to sign one in January as well after loan moves for Alvaro Morata, Miroslav Klose, Salomon Kalou and Papiss Cisse were all rejected.

An Italian paper is reporting that Wenger is ready to turn his attentions to Serie A, and is plotting a shock move to bring Balotelli back to the Premier League, despite all of his issues he had with Manchester City.

The 23-year-old has got quite a rocky relationship with Milan’s hierarcy and with them likely to miss out on a Champions League spot for next season, it is suggested that the Italian may be willing to move back to England, if the right offer comes in for him.

In the past, Balotelli’s agent has spoken out about his desire to re-join Jose Mourinho and sign for Chelsea, but as it stands, it is Arsenal who are the only team interested.
