The French club are keen to bring the Gunners star to Ligue 1 in summer
PSG are chasing Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez and are hopeful of signing him in the summer, according to reports today.
The forward has been a pivotal player for the Gunners this season but he has yet to sign a new deal with the club and doesn’t look like signing one anytime soon, with the player believed to want out of the Emirates Stadium.
There has been a number of different reports over the course of this season about whether or not the Chile international is happy at Arsenal and whether there have been bust-ups and whether he wants to leave.
It’s looking likely that the former Barcelona star will indeed leave the club at the end of the season, with the club resigned to losing him unless he agrees to a new contract.
Chelsea also linked with Sanchez
Rather than lose him for nothing, they will have to cash in on him soon instead and PSG are willing to pay what it takes to sign him.
They aren’t the only interested team either, with rivals Chelsea also believed to have him high on their wanted list for this summer.
But,. The Telegraph has reported that PSG are confident of doing business for him this summer, as Arsenal are unwilling to let him join a rival English side.
This is a boost for the Ligue 1 club, as they not only have the funds for a move but they could be a preferred option of Arsene Wenger is forced to sell him.
The player reportedly fancies a move to Chelsea, as he wouldn’t be moving very far but it is unlikely that the Gunners would green light a move to a rival club unless an offer they can’t refuse is made.
PSG believe they need to sign some more top-level players this summer to have a chance of challenging in the Champions League next season and Sanchez is very high on their wanted list.
If he doesn’t pen a new deal, then they could soon get their man.
