PSG Find Loan Agreement With Tottenham For Dele Alli

According to the latest reports, PSG have found a loan agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for Dele Alli.

Le Parisien understands that there has been a breakthrough in negotiations recently.

Both clubs began talking terms last summer itself. Jose Mourinho’s clear hesitance to play the Englishman has only furthered PSG’s momentum. Now, a loan deal seems likely with Spurs looking at potential replacements.

Problem is there are only four days left which is a very short window to find able backups. Mourinho’s starting player in the attacking midfield role is Tanguy Ndombele. The Frenchman has been in brilliant form recently. Seeing how important he is to the team, it would be hard to see a team without a backup.

PSG were ready to offer Idrissa Gueye and Julian Draxler on exchange. Now, they are banking on Mauricio Pochettino’s influence to broker a deal. It was under the Argentine that Alli flourished in North London. There is no saying that he could reignite his career when playing for a favourable manager.

Mourinho clearly does not rate Alli but Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy still does. Alli’s contract is set to last until June 2024. That gives him plenty of time to either turn things around or for Spurs to bank a giant transfer fee from his sale.
