According to reports from French daily Le Parisien, PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot will snub Liverpool and join Barcelona in the summer. Rabiot hasn’t featured in any matches for PSG since December. His contract runs out in the summer and Rabiot won’t sign an extension.
It looked like Rabiot would join Barcelona during the January transfer window. However, no move materialised. Liverpool also showed interest in signing Rabiot and some reports claimed that Rabiot would snub Spurs to hold out for an offer from Liverpool. Other clubs interested in the 23-year old were Juventus and Arsenal.
However, now it seems like Rabiot will join Barcelona after all. There’s no telling if Rabiot will get much playing time at Barca because they already have a few quality midfielders in their lineup. Rabiot has made 227 appearances for PSG, scoring 24 goals and providing 17 assists.
