Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to launch a £15million Summer bid for Chelsea defender, Branislav Ivanovic.
The Serbian has been in superb form for The Blues this season, helping guide them to a Capital One Cup trophy and top of the Premier League with just a few months left.
However, due to his age, Chelsea will only offer him 12-month rolling contracts from now on, and PSG believe if they offer the 31-year-old a longer, lucrative deal, they could persuade him to leave Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have an over-30 policy when it comes to contracts and despite Jose Mourinho pleading with them to offer Ivanovic a longer deal due to his important in the first-team, the club may not bend their rules for the versatile defender.
Ivanovic has one year left on his current deal and according to reports, Chelsea have offered him a further 12-months worth around £90ka-week, but PSG are going to try and convince him to leave this Summer by offering him a long-term deal and offering Chelsea £15m.
