Argentinian forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has been linked with a move away from Paris, with Liverpool keeping close attention on the forward’s situation, but they will have to pay £16,000,000 for his services.
The 29 year old former Napoli man, who has also attracted interest from Juventus and Chelsea, has appeared to be a rotational player this season for the French champions, after joining from Napoli for £28,000,000 in July 2012, whilst the Parisienne side look keen to place a bid on fellow Argentine Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid.
Liverpool appear to be keeping a close eye on Lavezzi’s radar as they look to bring the Argentinian to Anfield as part of Brendan Rodgers’ new-look Liverpool team.
The Liverpool boss has already splashed out £87,000,000 on new players as he looks to strengthen his side ahead of the Reds’ Champions League campaign this season. Liverpool have alread added Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can, Lazar Markovic, Divock Origi and Dejan Lovren since the end of the 2013-14 season and hope to add Lavezzi to the roster in the coming months.
