Chelsea boss still expects successful season

Jose Mourinho has stated Chelsea could still win the quadruple this season, despite their shocking start to the new campaign.

The Blues have had a slow start to the 2015/2016 campaign, winning just three matches in the league and finding themselves 12th in the table, already 10-points behind Manchester City.

Despite the shocking start, Mourinho is still in a confident mood as his side travel to take on Dynamo Kiev tonight, and speaking in the press conference ahead of the Champions League game, he stated his side could still win the quadruple.

Mourinho Fighting Talk

“We can win all four. Everything is open – we are only in October,” said Mourinho.

Chelsea won the double last season, winning the Premier League and the Capital One Cup, but so far this season, things haven’t gone to plan for Mourinho’s men on and off the pitch.

Sagas with Eva Carneiro and the FA have put severe pressure on Mourinho’s shoulders, whilst key players last season simply haven’t turned up on the pitch so far.

Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic, John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic and Diego Costa all coming under questioning for their poor form so far.
