Queens Park Rangers have signed West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison on a 93 day loan.

The 23 year old will officially complete the move on Friday, in what is seemingly a tidy bit of business from Rangers boss Harry Redknapp.

The loan was put back due to the maximum number of days of a loan deal the Football League allows, with the deal ending after the Championship play off Final in late May.

He will be allowed to play in all of his sides games from now on, including the play offs, if the Shephards Bush side fail to win automatic promotion back to the Premier League.

Morrison stated to the clubs official website….

“I just want to help QPR get to the Premier League – that’s my objective during my time here,”

If we manage to do that, it would be great for everybody connected with the club.”

Morrison has made 21 appearances for Premier League side West Ham United this season, scoring five goals at the Boleyn Ground.

He joined the Hammers in the January of 2012, following a number of personal problems at Old Trafford.

He was then loaned out to Championship side Birmingham City for the 2012/2013 season, making 27 appearances, scoring three goals for the second City club.

Morrison added in his interview….

“All I want to do is play football,” he added. “I just want to show everyone what I can do week in, week out.

“The aim here is to get the club promoted and I want to contribute in helping QPR to get there.”

The midfielder started the season superbly at the Hammers, scoring a superb individual goal in West Ham’s 3-0 win away at Tottenham Hotspur in October.

He joins with Rangers sitting in third in the table, having lost their last three League games.
