AS Monaco and Inter Milan could strike up a deal

Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao is the centre of a possible player-swap deal involving AS Monaco and Inter Milan.

The Colombian international has once again struggled to impress in the Premier League and could be recalled by the Ligue 1 side in January in order to prevent his valuation from diminishing further.

Falcao suffered at Manchester United throughout the 2014/2015 campaign, scoring just four goals, but despite that, Chelsea and Jose Mourinho still wanted him at Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan.

However, once again the striker has failed to impress and he could be on his way out already, just six months into his loan.

Falcao/Icardi Swap

With Monaco tempted to re-call him in January, they could then use him as part of a deal with Inter Milan, as Roberto Mancini remains interested in signing the Colombian.

If Inter do make a formal approach for the striker, Monaco could ask about Mauro Icardi being included as part of the deal.

The Argentine was dropped recently by Mancini and despite Inter‘s president confirming just yesterday that they have no plans in selling their captain, a deal could be agreed to with Falcao going to the San Siro.
