Striker has been told to join the MLS
Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao has been urged by his national coach to quit the Premier League club and secure a move to the MLS.
The Colombian international secured a loan switch to Stamford Bridge in the summer, but has failed to shine at the club and has been sitting on the injury table for the past several weeks.
Falcao was heavily linked with a move away in January, but due to his fitness problems, he couldn’t complete a medical, meaning he was stuck in West London.
The 30-year-old has just one goal to his name for Chelsea, and scored just three more than that last season when on loan at Manchester United, and his Colombian head-coach has urged him to leave England altogether and join the MLS in order to refind his best form.
Jose Pekerman has urged him to join the American league as he believes it will be best for his international career, which would be damaged should he choose to stay at Chelsea or move to China.
