The striker is hoping that the Red Devils sign him on a permanent basis next summer

Radamel Falcao is hoping to earn a permanent move to Man United at the end of the season. The striker is currently on a season-long loan at Old Trafford and he is yet to live up to the hype that surrounded him when he joined, scoring just once in 11 appearances for the Red Devils.

However, this is mainly down to injury and the Colombian forward is hoping he can start performing and then earn a permanent move to United next summer. The club currently has an option to be able to sign him permanently if they offer ÂŁ43.5m and Falcao is hoping they use it. He said:

“I am very happy in this city, in this club and I am enjoying it here. I really want to stay. From my point of view, I’d like to carry on but obviously I have to analyse the situation, see if I play more and see what decision the board takes.”
