Manchester United defender, Rafael, is set for an exit from Old Trafford as Louis Van Gaal looks to cash in on the Brazilian.
The right-back hasn’t featured a lot this season for United, and hasn’t played since early January, when they beat Yeovil in the FA Cup.
The 24-year-old will just have 12 months left on his contract at the end of the season, and according to reports, Van Gaal wants to cash in on him now, rather than lose him for a free a year later.
United are already monitoring Nathaniel Clyne as a potential replacement.
However, after signing a new deal at the club, Paddy McNair has been backed by Van Gaal to be the club’s right-back for the next 10 years.
