Chelsea midfielder Ramires is confident that his side can go to the Etihad Stadium on Monday night and come away with a result, despite Manchester City’s 100% record in their own backyard.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men have seen off; Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton at the Etihad so far this season, and has scored 21 goals in the process.
However, Ramires, who was part of Chelsea’s team that got a result at the Nou Camp when they were doubted, believes his team-mates can produce a similar performance on Monday night and can come away with a positive result.
“We all know that it’s going to be a difficult game but we beat them at home, even if that was also a tough match,” he said.
“We hope we can win on Monday because if we want to win the title it will be very important.
“Despite the fact it will be difficult, a victory there would be very sweet and we are going to give our very best.”
