Italian sources have confirmed that the talented uruguyan youngster could be a liverpool player by the end of next week, with talks set up between Liverpool and the player’s agents within the next 48 hours.

Liverpool have been tracking Ramirez for sometime now, and with Gylfi Sigurdsson’s move to merseyside now in the gutter, it looks like new Liverpool manager Bredan Rodgers will be adding Ramirez to the host of urugyuan talent now coming in to Anfield.

No initial fee has been made or confirmed by either club as of yet, but it is thought that when a bid is made, it could be in the region of ÂŁ16 million. Manchester City, Juventus and Wolfsburg have all voiced thier interest in the attacking midfielder over the last few weeks, but Liverpool have so far been making the loudest noises.
