Wolves’ 3-game winning streak has on-loan striker, Raul Jiemenz feeling ‘unstoppable’ in the Premier League.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men laid waste to an Everton side by 3 goals to 1 on Saturday evening. Jimenez recorded his 9th goal of the season in as many as 25 league matches played.
Speaking to the Express and Star, the 27-year-old forward was quoted – “With these results and all the confidence we have, we can be unstoppable.”
“We know we have a good team with all of us doing the right things in our positions. We’re enjoying our games, we’re happy. We want to win every game. Sometimes we’ll lose, but we have to keep going and try to do what we did on Saturday.”
The Wanderers have climbed up to the 7th spot of the league standings keeping a strong 4-point lead over Watford. They have already managed to prove their resolute attitude by holding Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal to draws this term while also securing crucial victories over Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
Their return to the Premier League has certainly been an inspiring journey under the guidance of a coach like Santo. Jimenez has also been Wolves’ driving factor up front, arriving from Benfica on a season-long loan and immediately turning a responsible goal threat.
