Reports claim deal in principle has been agreed
Real Madrid and Chelsea have agreed a deal in principle for Eden Hazard, according to reports.
The Belgian international has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after a dramatic fall from grace. Last season’s PFA Player of the Year has only netted two goals so far this season, both coming in the FA Cup.
Despite his below-par campaign, Madrid are still desperate to sign him at the end of the season, and according to reports, a deal in principle has already been agreed.
Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer of Hazard, and despite the Frenchman expected to leave his role as interim-manager at the Bernabeu, he will still be working around the club and he wants to work with the Chelsea star.
Hazard himself shares the admiration and has admitted that he’s always wanted to work with the former-midfielder, and it looks like that is finally set to happen.
Deal In Place
According to reports in Spain, a deal is already in place with the La Liga giants agreeing to a deal in principle.
It’s claimed the Madrid hierarchy have got the deal in place, and it could cost them around ÂŁ78million. It could also see the likes of James Rodriguez and/or Isco leave the club.
