Former-president confirms interest in Chelsea star
Ramon Calderon has confirmed that Real Madrid are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard.
The Blues star has reportedly told his family and friends that he wants to quit Stamford Bridge in the summer, with a move to the Bernabeu his preferred destination.
Hazard has had a poor start to the new campaign, and things got worse on Tuesday night when he missed the deciding penalty in the Capital One Cup Fourth Round against Stoke City.
Despite winning PFA Player of the Year last year and Chelsea winning the Premier League title, both have struggled so far this campaign, and Hazard is ready to quit.
According to Madrid‘s former-president, interest is there from the La Liga giants in the Belgium international, and a formal bid likely to be launched next summer.
He told beIN Sports: “They are looking at him and, as far as I know, he has not said no.
“We will wait and see.”
