Real Madrid enquire about Manchester City superstar
Real Madrid are not having a good start to their title-defending season in La Liga and the club’s board members are not happy about it. They are still in full support of Zinedine Zidane and are willing to splash the cash in the January transfer window and get him the players he wants.
As per reports in City Watch, Los Blancos have made a move for Manchester City’s midfield superstar, Kevin de Bruyne. The Belgian’s agent, Patrick De Koster, was contacted by the Madrid officials according to the report.
However, the Spanish giants have one major hurdle to get the transfer done. The player is reportedly not willing to leave the Manchester side right now and is keen on extending his stay at Etihad.
Apart from Madrid, reports claim that even Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on the Belgian but are not planning to make a move anytime soon. Their primer targets still remain to be Alexis Sachez and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former Chelsea man was signed by the Cityzens in 2016 for a whopping £54 million from Wolfsburg. He has since then gone on to establish himself as one of the best players in the Premier League and is a key part of Guardiola’s plans at the club right now.
